Johnson is president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Federation of America and the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, where she previously served as Board volunteer for nearly a decade. She is the co-founder and former co-director of the Perception Institute, a consortium of researchers and strategists who translate research into solutions that reduce bias and discrimination. During the 2004 election cycle, Johnson served as executive director of Citizen Change.
