Richard Florida

Co-Founder & Senior Editor at The Atlantic City Lab and University Professor at University of Toronto’s School of Cities and Rotman School of Management

Florida is a researcher, professor and co-founder of The Atlantic’s CityLab, a news publication focused on cities and urbanism. He is also a professor at the University of Toronto’s School of Cities and Rotman School of Management. He is a distinguished fellow at NYU’s Schack School of Real Estate. Additionally, Florida is the founder of the global advisory firm Creative Class Group and author of several global bestselling books.

Joel Kotkin

Executive Director of the Urban Reform Institute

Kotkin is the presidential fellow in Urban Futures at Chapman University and the executive director of the Urban Reform Institute, a nonprofit organization that promotes approaches for cities to drive opportunity for the bulk of their citizens. He is also a senior fellow for Heartland Forward and the executive editor of NewGeography.com. Kotkin is the author of “The Coming of Neo-Feudalism: A Warning to the Global Middle Class.” published in 2020.

Director of the LBJ Urban Lab at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin

Pedigo serves as the director of the LBJ Urban Lab, a do-tank informing urban policy and strategy and training the next generation of policy leaders and city builders. He has advised and collaborated with more than 50 cities, universities, developers, nonprofits and Fortune 500 companies to build more innovative, resilient and inclusive communities. Pedigo also serves as director of research and advising at the global advisory firm Creative Class Group.
