Kay Bailey Hutchison
Hutchison was sworn in as the U.S. permanent representative to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in 2017. Previously, she served as a U.S. senator for Texas from 1993 to 2013. Hutchison gained extensive international experience as a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee. She also served in the Texas House, as Texas state treasurer and as vice chair of the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board.
