Hollins was appointed Harris County clerk in Texas by the Harris County Commissioners Court in May. Previously, Hollins served as vice chairman of the Texas Democratic Party and worked as an attorney for the Hollins Law Group. Hollins has also worked for Goldman Sachs and for the consulting firm McKinsey & Company.
Marziani is the president of the Texas Civil Rights Project and an election law professor at the University of Texas at Austin. Previously, she served as counsel for the Democracy Program at the Brennan Center for Justice at the New York University School of Law, where she litigated election law cases in federal courts. Marziani launched Texas’ first statewide voter protection program for progressive candidates and groups in 2014.
Douglas is the political director of MOVE Texas, a nonprofit organization that works to increase civic engagement in youth communities. Previously, she interned at America Votes and served as a legislative aid in the Texas Legislative internship program. In 2019, Douglas won the MTV Leaders for Change grant, which celebrates and supports young advocates who are working to end voter suppression.
Ramón has served as the elections administrator for Hidalgo County since 2008. Previously, she was an administrator and teacher for the McAllen Independent School District. Ramón holds a CERA certification, the only national program of continuing professional education that specializes in voter registration and elections administration. She also holds a Texas registered elections official certification.
