Annette Gordon-Reed

Gordon-Reed is the Carl M. Loeb University Professor at Harvard University. She has won 16 book prizes, including the Pulitzer Prize in history in 2009 and the National Book Award in 2008. She has also received the National Humanities Medal, a MacArthur “Genius Grant” and the Frederick Douglass Prize. Gordon-Reed is the author of “On Juneteenth,” published in 2021.
