Carol Alvarado

Alvarado, D-Houston, has represented Senate District 6 since a 2018 special election. She sits on the Senate Administration, Transportation, Natural Resources and Economic Development, and Nominations committees. Previously, Alvarado represented House District 145 for more than 10 years. She also served on the Houston City Council from 2002-08.
