Griswold is a contributing writer for The New Yorker, where she covers religion, politics and the environment. She has written and translated four books of nonfiction and poetry and is the author of “Amity and Prosperity: One Family and the Fracturing of America,” for which she won the Pulitzer Prize for general nonfiction in 2019. Griswold is also a distinguished writer in residence at New York University.
