Eva Guzman

Guzman served as a Texas Supreme Court justice from 2009-21. She was the state’s first Hispanic woman in a statewide elected office. She is also a Republican candidate in the 2022 race for Texas attorney general. Previously, Guzman was one of nine justices on the 14th Court of Appeals in Houston, where she participated in deciding thousands of civil and criminal appeals and wrote hundreds of published opinions.
