James White

White, R-Hillister, has represented House District 19 since 2010 and is a Republican candidate in the 2022 race for Texas agriculture commissioner. He serves as chair of the House Committee on Homeland Security and Public Safety and sits on the Corrections and Redistricting committees. Previously, White was a government professor at Angelina College.
