John Cornyn

Cornyn, R-Texas, was first elected to the U.S. Senate in 2002 and served as the Senate Majority Whip from 2013-19. He serves on the Senate Intelligence, Judiciary and Finance committees. Previously, Cornyn served as Texas Attorney General from 1999-2002. He also served on the Texas Supreme Court and as a Bexar County district court judge.
