Matthew Watkins

Watkins is the managing editor of news and politics for The Texas Tribune. Previously, he served as the Tribune’s politics editor and breaking news editor and wrote about higher education and the business of college sports. Watkins also covered local government as the Dallas County government reporter at The Dallas Morning News and was a staff writer at The Bryan-College Station Eagle.
