Michael Bender

Bender has covered the White House and American politics for the Wall Street Journal since 2016. He was awarded the Gerald R. Ford Foundation Journalism Prize in 2019 for his reporting on the presidency and the National Press Club award for his political analysis. Bender is the author of “Frankly, We Did Win This Election: The Inside Story of How Trump Lost,” published in 2021.
