Robert Chesney

James Baker Chair and Associate Dean at the University of Texas School of Law and Co-Founder of Lawfare

Chesney joined the University of Texas School of Law, where he serves as the associate dean, in 2008. Previously, he served on the Justice Department’s Detention Policy Task Force under former President Barack Obama. Chesney is also a co-founder of Lawfare, a member of the American Law Institute and a senior editor for the Journal of National Security Law & Policy.
