Ruth Simmons

Simmons has served as the president of Prairie View A&M University, a historically Black University, since 2017. Previously, she served as president of Brown University from 2001-12 and held various faculty and administrative roles at the University of Southern California, Princeton University, Spelman College and Smith College.
