Sewell Chan

Chan will be the editor-in-chief for The Texas Tribune. Currently, he is the editorial page editor and former deputy managing editor of the Los Angeles Times. Chan previously worked as international news editor, deputy op-ed editor, Washington correspondent, and metro reporter and bureau chief at the New York Times from 2004-18, where he and his team won the 2009 Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News for coverage of the Eliot Spitzer scandal.
