Watts is the founder of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, the nation’s largest grassroots group fighting against gun violence. Previously, she was a communications executive at Fortune 100 companies. She was named one of People’s 25 Women Changing the World in 2018. Watts is the author of “Fight Like a Mother: How a Grassroots Movement Took on the Gun Lobby and Why Women Will Change the World,” published in 2019.
