Anchor & Executive Producer of Latino USA and Founder, President & CEO of Futuro Media

Hinojosa is the founder and CEO of Futuro Media, a nonprofit newsroom that creates multimedia content from the perspectives of people of color. She currently serves as the anchor and executive producer of the Peabody Award-winning show "Latino USA," and is co-host of Futuro Media’s award-winning political podcast “In The Thick.” Hinojosa is the author of “Once I Was You: A Memoir of Love and Hate in a Torn America,” published in 2020.

Assistant Dean of Civic Engagement & External Affairs at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin

Soto specializes in immigration, race and gender in politics, campaigns and elections as a lecturer at the LBJ School of Public Affairs. Her research on political behavior has been featured in The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times and POLITICO. Previously, Soto taught at Northwestern University and Rutgers, and she is currently a contributor to MSNBC, NBCNews.com and Telemundo.
