Ramsey also served as associate deputy comptroller for policy and director of communications at the state comptroller’s office.
Grieder has served as a metro columnist for the Houston Chronicle since 2017. Previously, she served as the southwest correspondent for The Economist and senior editor at Texas Monthly. Grieder is the author of “Big, Hot, Cheap, and Right: What America Can Learn from the Strange Genius of Texas," published in 2013. She is currently a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas' Emerging Leaders Council.
Jeffers Jr. is the political writer for The Dallas Morning News, where he has covered the presidential campaigns of George W. Bush, Barack Obama and Donald Trump. Previously, he served as The Dallas Morning News’ City Hall reporter, where he covered the second term of Dallas Mayor Ron Kirk. Previously, Jeffers Jr. served as a political reporter at The Kansas City Star and The Chicago Defender.
Tilove is the chief political writer for the Austin American-Statesman, where he also writes the “First Reading” blog and a weekly Sunday column. Previously, he worked as a political reporter at the New Orleans Times-Picayune. Tilove is the author of “Along Martin Luther King: Travels on Black America’s Main Street,” published in 2003.
