Tapper has served as anchor and chief Washington correspondent for CNN since 2013. He anchors the one-hour weekday program “The Lead with Jake Tapper,” which debuted in 2013, and has hosted CNN’s Sunday morning show “State of the Union,” since 2015. Tapper is the author of “The Outpost: Now a Major Motion Picture,” published in 2020.
