Jay Hartzell

Interim President of the University of Texas at Austin

Hartzell was named president of the University of Texas at Austin in September 2020, having served as interim president since June. Previously, he served in the UT-Austin McCombs School of Business as dean, senior associate dean for academic affairs, chair of the finance department and executive director of the Real Estate Finance and Investment Center.
