Karen Pierce

Pierce has served as the british ambassador to the U.S. at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office since March 2020. Previously, she served as the United Kingdom’s permanent representative to the United Nations in New York from 2006 to 2009, where she acted as the president of the UN Security Council. Pierce also served as the director general for political affairs and chief operating officer of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London.
