Shefali Luthra

Luthra covers women and health care for The 19th, an Austin-based nonprofit newsroom focused on the intersection of gender, politics and policy. Previously, she was a correspondent for Kaiser Health News, where she spent six years covering health policy on the national and state levels. Luthra’s work has appeared in publications including The New York Times, The Washington Post, NPR and The Guardian.
