We know that the students (and educators) who attend the Texas Tribune Festival are the future leaders of Texas and beyond. We’ve crafted an enhanced student experience to help you get the most out of the Festival, including a pre-Festival summit, student lounge activities and other special events.
Students and educators can attend the Festival for only $50. Email registration@texastribune.org from your school-affiliated email address to get started.

Volunteer
Our volunteers make the Festival possible, helping to manage daytime programming, documenting the event through photography and video and overseeing our special events. In addition to a free badge, Festival volunteers receive a special commemorative gift for their participation in making the sixth annual event our strongest yet.

The Texas Tribune Festival is a forum for discussion and civic engagement about issues that affect all Texans, and we're striving to make the event more welcoming and accessible to all who are interested in participating. If there is anything we can do to help you access the Festival, please email festival@texastribune.org to discuss your needs.
With the help of a grant from the Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities, the Festival invites qualified individuals with developmental disabilities and their family members to apply for travel assistance to the Festival being held at the University of Texas at Austin on Sept. 23 - 25, 2016 in Austin, TX. Military and Special Needs
In an effort to make The Texas Tribune Festival accessible to all, active or retired military and others on a fixed income are encouraged to email festival@texastribune.org to access specially priced tickets.
