Texas Tribune Events, like the Festival, are public service journalism in action — an opportunity for Texans to hear firsthand from elected officials and thought leaders about the policies and laws affecting their everyday lives. As a 501(c)(3), our nonprofit newsroom’s ability to produce these events begins with our supporters — regular folks who see the value of the Tribune and contribute. Here are some ways to pitch in:

Volunteer

Our volunteers make the Festival possible. In 2016, over 400 people took on jobs small and large to help us put on this event. From providing information to attendees to helping to manage daytime programming and checking badges, volunteers are integral. Commit to a 4-hour shift and in return, you'll receive complimentary registration to the remainder of the event, a volunteer staff t-shirt, a Texas Tribune membership and a special commemorative gift for their participation in making the 2017 event our strongest yet.
