Alphonso David

David is a nationally recognized LGBTQ civil rights lawyer and president of the Human Rights Campaign. Previously, he was counsel to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and served as the governor’s chief counsel and principal legal advisor. David also served four years in Gov. Cuomo’s cabinet as deputy secretary and counsel for civil rights, the first position of its kind in New York State.
