Jesse Moss

Actor and filmmaker

Moss is a documentary filmmaker and cinematographer. He is the co-director of the political coming of age story “Boys State,” which won the Grand Jury Prize in the U.S Documentary Competition at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival. Moss also wrote, directed and produced “The Overnighters,” a 2014 documentary film short listed for best documentary feature at the Oscars. He teaches filmmaking at San Francisco State University.
