Joel Anderson

Anderson is a staff writer for Slate and co-host of the Hang Up and Listen podcast. He was also host of the third season of the Slow Burn podcast, which covered the tenuous relationship between rappers Tupac Shakur and the Notorious B.I.G. Prior to joining Slate, Anderson was a reporter for ESPN and BuzzFeed News, among several other news outlets. His piece “The Two Michael Sams” is featured in The Best American Sportswriting from 2015.
