Jonathan Alter

Alter is a columnist for The Daily Beast, an analyst for MSNBC and co-host of “Alter Family Politics,” a weekly family talk show on Sirius XM. Previously, he worked at Newsweek for 28 years as a senior editor and columnist. Alter is the author of three New York Times bestsellers. His most recent book “His Very Best: Jimmy Carter, a Life” was published in 2020.
