José Garza

Garza is running for election for Travis County District Attorney in Texas after defeating the incumbent DA in the primary election run-off. Previously, he worked at Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid, where he won the office’s first acquittal at jury trial. Garza also served as deputy general counsel for the House Committee on Education and Labor and as a senior policy official at the U.S. Department of Labor.
